We built this facility to solve a problem we kept hearing about. As sections get smaller and more of us move into inner‑city living, there’s simply less room for motorhomes, boats, campervans, and other valuable possessions. We also heard plenty of stories about tradies working out of sheds that ran out of room years ago, and businesses stacking stock in spare offices.
So we listened and built a purpose‑designed, secure storage facility with unit sizes to suit everyone, from smaller lock‑ups to large vehicle bays.

It started with a campervan. The backstory.
Brendon is Taranaki born and bred. He’s lived, worked and raised his family here, so when he set out to create Locked-in Secure Storage, he wanted to build something for the people and businesses of the place he calls home.
The idea came from a problem he knew first-hand.
After buying a campervan, Brendon found it surprisingly difficult to find somewhere that was secure, easy to access and somewhere he genuinely felt comfortable leaving it.
So he thought, why not create it? And that’s how Locked-In began.
